ACHIEVMENTS |
Projects implemented by “Young Film” non governmental
organization throughout its activity are:
1. Photo-festival heading “Gyumri in your eyes”
2. Photo-seminars have been carried out for professional photographers
and students of Fine Arts Conservatory jointly with “Civic
education project”
3. Short musical feature film called “Legend of Love”
has been shot by organization
4. An exhibition by the theme of “Tourism development
of Shirak region has been arranged along with “The Shirak
Development Centre” in the touring centre of Yerevan
5. The organization has taken part in photo-festival heading
«100 open windows» in Kyurne town of Belgium
6. Photo-exhibition was arranged jointly with «The Urban
Institute», «USAID», «The Shirak Development
Centre», «Academy For Educational development»
organizations and USA Embassy within the frame of «New
Gyumri» festival
7. Various exhibitions have been arranged almost in all countries
of Armenia
8. «Children and Culture» project was implemented
with the support of «World Learning» organization
within the frame of which forty children were taught movie and
photo professions. Twenty of them were from Gyumri children's
home, the rest from the country
9. Movie and photo amateur club was opened by «Young Film»
organization after completion of the project where the best
children are continuing their study.
10. «Photo-art of Armenia» project was implemented
financed by «Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation-Armenia»
within the frame of which a unique photo-festival was fulfilled
in Armenia and all over Armenia by organization
11. Documentary titled «Six days in Armenia» has
been shot along with «SPFA» organization
12. «Young Film» organization has taken initiatives
in shooting documentary-catalogue titled «Churches of
Armenia» which is believed to be a unique one. The first
part of the film called «Way to everlasting love»
is considered to be completed. The film has been shown in a
good deal of cinemas of Armenia and on various TV-companies.
The film has already been submitted to «Golden Apricot»
movie-festival of Armenia and to different movie-festivals across
the world. As for film-catalogue, it is supposed to include
the whole churches of Armenia which are 40.000 in their amount.
The organization is the author of various TV-programs, films,
social clips, musical clips, design work etc.
